Dean S. Tripodes is CEO and founder of
Baywalk Web Development. Since 1998, he has
helped small businesses and non-profit organizations. By focusing on the small business, working at
Los Angeles' County's Business Technology Center (a local incubator for new businesses), Dean has first hand
experience with many varied startup organizations.
Dean received his MBA degree in 2000 from Claremont Graduate University and had
the honor of taking five classes from the late
Peter F. Drucker, considered by many to be the father of modern
management.

Consulting for non-profit organizations.
Dean is a member and participant in many non-profit organizations, including the Altadena Chamber of Commerce, local
churches, cultural organizations such as AHEPA, a Greek-American non-profit organization that promotes education and
philanthropy. He has led non-profits in leadership positions, holding regional governing positions covering 4 states,
and holding all offices from the chapter level (secretary, vice-president, and president) to the regional level
(district secretary, district lieutenant governor, and district governor). He has chaired cultural festivals, and
worked with projects such as the Tournament of Roses® by helping fund-raise and market for a local float entry.

Since 2002, Dean has taught Marketing, Management (Problem Based Learning), Managing the Business Enterprise,
Communications, Creativity, E-Business, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Leadership, and Web Design
at twelve different University of Phoenix southern California campuses.
In the past, he has taught at Pasadena City College, Marymount College, and the University of California at Irvine.
Dean is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society for Business Programs and in 1998 he won the
Henry R. Kravis Entrepreneurship Award from Claremont Graduate University.

Managing the Non-Profit
We have updated our signature guest lecture series, Managing the Non-Profit. Based on the classic
business book by Peter F. Drucker, and personal notes that Dean took in class with Professor Drucker.
Our interactive lecture is approximately an hour long, and is ideal for lunch time presentations or whenever
an impact topic is needed and time is limited.

Management 101
Introduction to the effective executive is our most popular training session. Training can
be customized from one 4 hour session to six 4 hour sessions. Focus on how you learn, what are
your strengths, managing by objectives, personality assessment, and enjoying and bring a
positive attitude to work.
